The Procedure

Single-entry tourist visas are valid for 30 days and can be applied for twice a year. The online application should include a copy of your passport and a photograph. Acceptance or rejection will occur within 72 hours. which must include a copy of your passport and a photograph. A screening process follows, and within 72 hours you will know if your visa application has been approved. Upon approval, print out the “electronic travel authorization” email, and present it upon arrival in India. They will take your fingerprint, then you are free to enjoy your visit.

Elegibility

According to the Indian government, the main purpose of the trip must be sightseeing, recreation, meeting friends or relatives, short-term medical care or casual business. Your passport must be valid for at least six months, and you must have a ticket out of the country, along with sufficient funds for the stay.
