InterContinental Hotels Named in World's 100 Best Restaurants
The 2009 San Pellegrino's list of the "World's 100 Best Restaurants" honours both the Grand Hotel InterContinental Stockholm and InterContinental Dubai Festival City with prestigious rankings for their respective signature restaurants, Mathias Dahlgren at Grand Hotel InterContinental Stockholm (#50) and Reflets par Pierre Gagnaire at InterContinental Dubai Festival City (#100). InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, the world's first truly international hotel brand, remains steadfast in a commitment to providing guests with innovative culinary experiences around the world.

The internationally-recognized San Pellegrino's "World's 100 Best Restaurants" list corresponds to the San Pellegrino awards ceremony, now in its eighth year. The event has established itself as the one of the most credible guides to the world's best restaurants and cutting-edge culinary trends.

Mathias Dahlgren received a prestigious two-Michelin-star rating earlier this year. The restaurant opened at the Grand Hôtel InterContinental Stockholm in May 2007 with a clear objective: to create a new Swedish identity. A new menu is presented on a daily basis, offering patrons the very best in local and global ingredients, as well as two distinct yet complementary dining experiences: Matbaren, the restaurant's food bar component, and Matsalen, the restaurant's private à la carte dining room. In just two years, both Matsalen and Matbaren have become celebrated and highly-acclaimed additions to the Swedish gastronomic scene and are currently regarded as two of Sweden's top restaurants.

Reflets par Pierre Gagnaire, the award-winning restaurant of French Chef Pierre Gagnaire at InterContinental Dubai Festival City, has been recognised by San Pellegrino's "World's 100 Best Restaurants" list after just 11 months of operation, and is the only restaurant in the Middle East to receive this honorary distinction. A three-time Michelin star recipient, Chef Gagnaire's upscale culinary offerings showcase his signature "multisensory hits", juxtaposing diverse tastes and textures for an adventurous dining experience.

The local and global success of both Mathias Dahlgren and Reflets par Pierre Gagnaire, two of only a handful of hotel restaurants to be recognised by San Pellegrino, highlight InterContinental Hotels & Resorts' dedication to innovative dining. In recent years, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has successfully collaborated with several renowned culinary professionals, including Alain Ducasse and Nobu Matsuhisa at InterContinental Hong Kong; Theo Randall at InterContinental London Park Lane; Rogér Rassin at InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam; Thomas Kammeier at InterContinental Berlin; Ulrich Heimann at InterContinental Berchtesgaden Resort; and Shannon Bennett at Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat.
