InterContinental London Park Lane Announces New Bar & Lounge
With unobstructed views of the outside gardens and parks as well as the iconic Wellington Arch, The Arch Bar is an exciting addition to the hotel, completely transforming the hotel's public-facing aspects and its food and drink offering outside of its two lauded restaurants, Cookbook Cafe and Theo Randall at The InterContinental.

Largely gin-focused, with a strong emphasis on fresh ingredients and complete with its own botanical apothecary, The Arch Bar has been created to satisfy the most discerning drinker. A wide spectrum of the highest quality spirits are available - as well as a number of virtually undiscovered artisan London producers - including 25 different gins. The Arch Bar also offers a considered wine list, including a large selection of English wines and beers by the glass.

Running daily between 5:30–6:30pm, The Arch Bar Gin Hour offers regulars and newcomers alike the chance to sample the bartenders' daily gin special. Highlights from the cocktail list include: Mother's Ruin made with Six o'Clock Gin, Tuppence Duty, a mix of champagne, fresh lemon and Fifty Pound Gin and Ernest Roots – a new take on the classic Hemingway Daiquiri. Throughout the year The Arch Bar will be holding monthly events in partnership with Moet & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot amongst other exclusive drinks brands. These events will feature live music and bespoke cocktails, all with a hint of theatre.

Adjacent to The Arch Bar is the Wellington Lounge, offering an all-day dining menu consisting of well-priced, small sharing plates. Afternoon Tea will continue to be an important part of the day at the hotel and will feature the hotel's own bespoke Wellington Blend, created by Executive Chef Paul Bates, in association with modern tea emporium, The Tea Palace.
