InterContinental Madrid Unveils Four New Presidential Suites

The suites offer more than 1,500 square feet of living space, boast spectacular views of Castellana Street, and provide exceptional comfort, privacy and service for guests. Each of the suites features a master bedroom with its own living room, two bathrooms stocked with a selection of Loewe amenities and a private kitchen. Managed by the prestigious London-based interiors consultancy J2 Design, the Presidential Suites combine classic style with contemporary Spanish elements using the highest quality of fabrics and materials.

The large multi-functional living space of each Presidential Suite is rich in color, featuring warm red and gold fabrics by designers such as Kenzo and silk lampshades by Porto Romana. Custom accessories from local stores add a touch of individuality to each of the suites. A blend of traditional and abstract artwork adorns the walls throughout and the latest technology – including Bang & Olufsen sound systems, independent satellite dish, e-Radio Internet radio and iPod connections – can be found in the bedroom and living area.
Located on the 8th floor, the Royal Suite offers a master bedroom with its own living area and in-suite bathroom, as well as two additional bedrooms. There is also a main living room, dining room, private kitchen and additional bathroom. A large outdoor terrace overlooking Castellana Street (Paseo de la Castellana) provides the perfect setting for private events, with custom dining and lounging furniture.

Throughout the Royal Suite, neutral tones contrast with vibrant rich colors using the highest quality of fabrics and materials. Mother-of-pearl and bespoke patterned Armourcoat walls blend with sumptuous velvets and brightly colored upholstery. The furniture includes elegant and one-off design pieces complemented by beaded and silk lighting shades.
