InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa Partners with Arizona Humane Society
Designed with the social and socially aware pet owner in mind, Yappy Hour is a wonderful way to reward pets with an evening out while giving back to the local pet community. Held the last Thursday of each month from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on the patio of Crave Café, the event costs $10 and includes a glass of wine, featured cheese tasting, Bentley's Biscuit dog treats and plenty of ice cold water in “Barkarita” dog bowls. $5 of each event fee is given directly to the Arizona Humane Society who will also be on-hand with pictures showcasing adoptable pets and information on their programs and services available to the pet community.

“Partnering with the Arizona Humane Society on Yappy Hour could not be a better or more natural fit,” said Greg Hanss, Director of Sales and Marketing for InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa. “It's wonderful that we can use this already well-established event to raise money and awareness for this local cause for which our staff and guests feel so passionate.”

In addition to the abundance of treats for animals and owners alike, an animal communication specialist will be available to provide assistance and guidance in understanding the needs of each pet.

The next Yappy Hour will be held Thursday, October 28th. All pets are encouraged to come dressed up and ready to show off their Halloween costume to the crowd.
