The 52-floor tower, which spans 2 million square feet on 2.5 acres of land in downtown L.A., features more than 1,000 hotel rooms, 224 private residences, 100,000 square feet of function space and the 8,000-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles.

In addition to its proximity to several city transit stations, features that qualified the properties for LEED Silver include energy-efficient windows designed to maximize daylight; water-saving plumbing fixtures and filtering of storm water runoff; cool roof installation, covered parking and water-efficient rooftop landscaping, reducing heat island effects; use of low-volatile organic compound materials; availability of a range of alternative transportation methods, including bicycle support, discounted parking for low-emitting and fuel-efficient vehicles, carpools and vanpools, and an employee rideshare program; use of recycled materials throughout the building; and recycling areas on every floor and at the building's main loading dock.
