Kick Off the Holidays in East Hampton at c/o The Maidstone

The weekend of December 10th marks this year's event when East Hampton's magical seasonal traditions come to life. It all culminates on Sunday, December 12th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with the Tree Lighting Ceremony at c/o The Maidstone hosted in collaboration with the East Hampton Chamber of Commerce and the East Hampton Historical Society.

Proud Owner, Jenny Ljungberg states, "This marks our third year hosting the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and we have enjoyed introducing our Swedish holiday festivities including the St. Lucia celebration. It has become a tradition that I look forward to all year." Other hotel activities include special holiday readings, a unique wine dinner and caroling. Residents and guests can also stroll local retailers for special shopping incentives, holiday catering, and other happenings.

Friday, December 10th
Best of The Living Room: The Ultimate Dining Experience enhanced by renowned East End Sommelier, Kelly Matis will select the finest wines from our extensive wine cellar to pair with a delectable six-course feast prepared by Chef James Carpenter. Book before November 30th and receive a 15% discount.

Saturday, December 11th
The festivities continue with holiday happenings throughout the village; A special tour of village inns, beloved landmarks and special offers at participating retailers. Refreshments will be served. Dream by our fire at the end of the day with complimentary Glögg, mulled cider or gather with friends À la Carte in the Cozy Lounge for a traditional tea service.

Sunday, December 12th
c/o The Maidstone introduces Swedish holiday celebrations to East Hampton with the St. Lucia Brunch featuring traditional Swedish holiday fare such as our signature saffron buns with raisins. Brunch will be served from 11:30 am-3 pm. At 6:00 p.m., c/o The Maidstone's Proud Owner, Jenny Ljungberg, will launch a program of music and theater with live songs from the East Hampton High School choir and Tree Lighting. Children decorate traditional Swedish cookies while the parents enjoy Glögg, wine, and seasonal treats compliments of The Living Room.
