Montage Hotels & Resorts announced its partnership with Kim Vo, celebrity colorist and stylist, who will operate signature Kim Vo Salons at Montage Laguna Beach and Montage Beverly Hills.

One of the beauty industry's most recognized personalities, Vo honed his craft first in New York at The Spot and later in Los Angeles at two of the West Coast's most celebrated salons, Christophe and Prive. Considered the "King of TV Makeovers," Vo also has a salon in Las Vegas. A celebrity in his own right, Vo has been featured in numerous magazine articles and on a host of television shows, including "Extreme Makeover," "Daily 10" and "Roots" on E! Entertainment, "Tease" on Oxygen, and "Shear Genius" on Bravo.

Recognized as an innovator in his field, Vo has consistently led the way in creating techniques such as "American Tailoring" and hair "dusting" and is continually evolving his unique approach to color and hair design. His celebrity clients include Teri Hatcher, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Chelsea Handler, Angela Bassett and Sylvester Stallone.

Named "Best Blonder in the business" by Vogue magazine, Vo is perhaps best known for his Baliage technique of coloring and as the creator of "the smudge," a 30-second hair color application. He also pioneered the use of vegetable-based hair color products long before "green" became the accepted norm. Vo recently launched a signature line of luxury hair care products for color-treated hair and plans to continue developing technologically advanced products that establish new standards in consumer hair care.

The new Montage salons will feature colorists and stylists personally trained by Vo, who will also be available for consultations and appointments. Both salons will offer Vo's signature precision haircuts, the latest hair technology in treatments and color, exclusive nail services and Vo's exclusive line of products.
