King Pacific Lodge Introduces Family Adventure Package with 25% Off
At this floating wilderness resort on British Columbia's Central Coast, families can create exceptional memories together, and save up to 25% on regular room rates. Introducing youngsters to one of the world's most precious wilderness areas, the Great Bear Rainforest, is as much an enriching educational experience as it is an adventure - and a significant saving over regular room rates is an additional enticement.

Parents can share the experience of the world's largest remaining intact temperate rainforest with their family while exploring the region and participating in a full range of activities from whale watching, hiking, fishing and kayaking to beachcombing on the white sand beaches of Campania Island. With the Family Adventure package, parents have plenty of quality time with their children, while adult-time includes spa treatments, four-course dinners, and knowing King Pacific Lodge will make a donation on their behalf to help steward this fragile habitat.

Supporting their commitment to family, King Pacific Lodge's new Kids' Club invites children to learn how to tie a fly, identify wildlife, learn new words in Sm'algyax (the language of the Gitga'at), or name three bear species. Meanwhile adults can relish in quality time, knowing that their kids' understanding of the wilderness around them is being enriched.

The Family Adventure package features:
• A 15-minute helicopter sightseeing tour of the Great Bear Rainforest for a family of four
• Two 55-minute spa treatments for the parents at the Spa at King Pacific Lodge
• An Adventure Passport: Kids track their excursions in an Adventure Passport – that special memory of reeling in their first fish, watching a whale breech, or hiking deep into the rainforest – and share their adventures with friends and family when they return home.
• A donation of $400.00 CAD for every family booked, by King Pacific Lodge, to Guarding the Gifts, a charitable fund that supports conversation initiatives in the Great Bear Rainforest and the Gitga'at First Nations community of Hartley Bay.

The Family Adventure is a three-night package available from $16,530.00 CAD for a family of four. King Pacific Lodge operates from June 3 to September 23, 2011.
