Koh Samui's Sublime Beach Resort, Napasai, Unveils a New Look

The secluded hillside hideaway set in tropical gardens overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, has expanded its private beach by some 800 square meters allowing for improved views throughout the resort. The new beach brings with it a delightful BBQ restaurant and chef, serving fresh local seafood and grilled dishes in two outside tropical wooden salas.

The beach also sees the addition of a floating pontoon, allowing arrival and departure by boat, and easy guest access to all depths of water for swimming and snorkelling.

The resort's acclaimed Napasai Spa has been given an invigorated look, along with the creation of a new cocktail and yoga deck offering panoramic ocean and island views. Complementing the renovation are indulgent spa packages for those seeking to relax and restore body and mind.

Relaxing treatments, massages and indulgences are rooted in traditional Thai medicine, local herbs and Oriental philosophies, inspired by Asian healing philosophies. Tropical light coloured furnishings have replaced old in 39 of the cottages extending through to the private terraces, and new facilities include flat-screen televisions and Ipod docks, plus stylish Jim Thompson silk and cotton fabrics in bedrooms. Complimentary Wifi internet access is now available in all cottages, complementing the existing service in villas and public areas.

An orchid farm is newly introduced to the resort's serene 17 acres of lush tropical gardens, together with an activity and excursion centre. Recreational options now extend to sunset cruises in traditional boats, diving excursions to Angthong National Marine Park and cooking and fruit carving classes.

The enhancements, which come one year after the resort’s stunning split level private pool villas were renovated, puts Napasai as one of the most stylish and comfortable properties on the island's fashionable north coast.
