The Essential Place Plus is available to book now for stays from 1 January 2011 and offers a sweep of additional 'essential' accessories for the modern traveller. In addition to the iPhone 4, the room also styles a Bose SoundDock digital music system, complimentary wi-fi internet, and brilliant coffee via the in-room Nespresso machine.

Each iPhone is equipped with a Hong Kong SIM card for free citywide calling, Langham Place's own Hong Kong city guide and immediate 24-hour access to the hotel's x-team (concierge) offering quick assistance for the directionally challenged! The phones also feature a Cantonese-English translator of must-know phrases, to-the-minute maps of Hong Kong, an intimate guide to using the Mass Transit Railway (MTR), a restaurant locator and an extensive range of lifestyle applications.

Guests can select from 72 Essential Place Plus rooms. A superb view is also assured, as the rooms all have floor to ceiling glass windows and occupy floors 30 to 33.
