Condé Nast Traveler, the Truth in Travel Magazine released its Annual Gold List of the World's best places to stay for 2009. Over 32,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers voted last November to select the world's best hotels, resorts, and cruise lines in their Fifteenth Annual Condé Nast Traveler Reader's Choice Awards Survey. After reviewing and evaluating the surveys, the editors then interviewed readers to identify what specifically makes these properties the "Cream of the Crop." The results according to Condé Nast, "A compendium of properties as reliable as bullion itself."
