Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris Unveils New Holiday Experiences
The hotel is inviting local Parisians and travelers to experience Val Monceau, along with its additional holiday offerings including a "Bûche de Noël Cristal" of Royal Monceau, an exclusive creation by renowned pastry chef, Pierre Hermé; "My Royal Cocooning," a brand new spa package entirely dedicated to comfort and wellbeing; a royal afternoon tea; and magical holiday décor in the Parisian palace.

To add a Royal touch to the hotel decoration, floral craftsman Baptiste Pitou was selected to embellish the facade and common areas with fresh and delicately perfumed flowers. In the lobby, a spectacular tree, shaped like a giant snowball with bronze details, will be installed by ground-breaking lighting sculptor, Sylvie Maréchal.

In addition, the Art Bookstore will carry an exclusive selection of original presents for guests to give, or receive. Quirky cups, cozy plaids, scented candles and the iconic Parisian cashmere berets are some of the Val Monceau Gifts that will certainly find their way under the Christmas tree.

The Ski Resort - Val Monceau

The patio of Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris has become a ski resort until mid-February, offering guests a trip to the mountains without having to leave Paris! To enjoy the winter season outdoors, Le Royal Monceau invites you to sit comfortably in one of the gondolas placed on the central terrace covered by snow or take refuge in the wood cabins covered with warm fur throws. This winter escape in the heart of Paris will serve as an on-mountain lodge where guests can take a break and enjoy a glass of Champagne from the brand new cuvée of Maison Veuve Clicquot, Extra Brut Extra Old, or from its emblematic cuvée Carte Jaune. This cuvée will perfectly pair with 3 unique signature cocktails imagined by Head Bartender, Nicola Battafarano. It will be difficult not to succumb to the truffle hotdog or smoked salmon waffles, as well as to the "Adorables," delicious, savory macarons from Pierre Hermé Paris, sublime and unexpected sweetness with foie gras, white truffle or caviar. The Maison Fusalp, the winter apparel specialist, will also bring the final touch from the Alps to this ephemeral ski resort. A collection of unique Sport-Chic pieces will be available to guests who are sensitive to cold weather yet want to remain stylish!

  • December 13th and 14th : A Slavic program of pure pleasure with the brilliance of Lutoslawski's Concerto for Orchestra, the bewitching lyricism of Tchaikovsky and the typical flavors of Dvorák's music.

  • December 21st and 22nd: A musical meditation on life after death by Edward Elgar, all the more striking with the interpretation of the mezzo Magdalena Kozená.

Music lovers will continue the experience with a night in the most contemporary of all Palaces and will have the chance to enjoy the new Royal Afternoon Tea by Pierre Hermé at Bar Long.
