Lincoln Center: A New York Holiday Season Destination

Lincoln Center: A New York Holiday Season Destination
The world's largest performing arts center is located at Broadway and 63rd Street and this season its resident organizations will present nearly 200 performances – many of them for families – of music, ballet, opera, circus, as well as film screenings between Thanksgiving and early January.

One of the city's best photo ops is the Center's iconic Josie Robertson Plaza where, through January 6, Aaron Curry's playful Melt to Earth, a free outdoor public art exhibition of 14 boldly-colored, monumental aluminum sculptures, surrounds the iconic Revson Fountain. No tickets or reservations needed!

To get acclimated to Lincoln Center's 16-acre campus, visit the inviting neighborhood and visitors' space, the David Rubenstein Atrium (Broadway and 62nd Street), which is open every day of the week. It offers daily guided tours (for groups and individuals), a visitors and ticketing facility and an array of programs, services, and amenities designed to welcome, inform, and (with Target® Free Thursdays and other programs) entertain the thousands of people who visit Lincoln Center every day.

Hungry? Daytime and nighttime, the Center offers a range of restaurants and cafes at all price points, such as chef Jonathan Benno's Michelin-starred Lincoln on Hearst Plaza with its impeccable view of the reflecting pool and Henry Moore's sculpture “Reclining Figure”; David Rubenstein
Atrium's ‘witchcraft, overseen by Tom Colicchio the chef/owner of the Craft family of restaurants, which offers fresh breakfast items, sandwiches, soups, salads, and pastries daily; and American Table Café and Bar by Marcus Samuelsson in Alice Tully Hall, which serves a varied American menu with a global twist.
