London Hilton on Park Lane Celebrates Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Afternoon Tea

To commemorate this historic event, Podium Restaurant at London Hilton on Park Lanehas created a limited edition ‘Diamond Jubilee Afternoon Tea'. Created by Executive Chef Anthony Marshall, this delicious variation of the hotel's celebrated afternoon tea includes an elderflower jelly diamond presented on a purple cushion made of chocolate mousse and praline; a vanilla and blueberry macaroon; a dark chocolate picture frame encasing an image of Her Majesty's coronation; 1953 Queen's Coronation stamp on a cupcake; a crown-shaped sable biscuit iced with the royal colours and a blueberry cupcake finished with gold leaves.

Boasting sweeping views across London's spectacular skyline, with Buckingham Palace prominently in sight, Michelin-starred Galvin at Windows Restaurant and Bar on the 28th floor of London Hilton on Park Laneis another ideal venue to celebrate the festivities and toast to The Queen with a specially created Diamond Jubilee menu. Exquisitely designed by André Garrett, Head Chef at Galvin at Windows, the menu features quintessentially British fare, such as English pea soup, ham hock, cockles and buttermilk; Dover Sole; Poulet Elizabeth “2012”; strawberries and cream and includes a glass of Henriot Brut NV Champagne.
