London's Hottest New Roof Bar Opening this September
ME London, the five star flagship hotel of the ME by Meliá group, opens its doors this August and introduces Radio rooftop terrace lounge and bar to the London scene.

One of the most significant rooftop spaces in London (140 capacity), and the only one in Aldwych to be open from breakfast to late, Radio is set to become the place to party for the fashionable, design-conscious set. Overlooking Somerset House and offering 180º panoramic views of the capital, from the heights of the city to the West End, any meeting at Radio is certain to be unforgettable.

The name “Radio” is a reference to the rich history of Marconi House, which is the site of the new ME London hotel. The former home of the BBC, Marconi House broke ground in 1922 by broadcasting the first regular programmes on British radiowaves; it is this heritage that the name celebrates.

Radio will serve a carefully curated range of beers, wines and soft drinks, and boasts a quirky cocktail list from F&B maestros, The ONE Group. Guests will be able to savour delights ranging from the fruity Mile High Margarita (Cuervo Gold, Grand Marnier, Cointreau, Chambord, Cranberry & Lemonade) to the crisp and refreshing English Electric Company (Bombay Sapphire Gin, Mint & Lime topped with Moet & Chandon Brut). Mediterranean-inspired menus will also be available throughout the day, so whether you’re after a pick-me-up brunch, al-frecso dinner or elegant nibbles to accompany your cocktail, Radio will have something to set your tastebuds aquiver.

Look no further for a standout hangout spot this fall. Radio, on top of ME London, is a bar you’ll want to shout about from the rooftops.
