To mark its re-emergence on London's social scene, the hotel introduces Café Royal Revival an opening package featuring accommodations in a Portland or Portland Deluxe rooms, a bottle of chilled Taittinger Champagne in-room on arrival, late check-out and VIP Regent Street Association membership entitling the guest to concessions in area boutiques and shops. Ideally located on 68 Regent Street, with elegant Mayfair to the west and creative Soho to the east, the property has undergone a four-year transformation under the direction of David Chipperfield Architects, which tapped the grandeur of the old Café Royal restaurant to create a visually stunning, luxury hotel. In each guest room, cast plaster and Carrera marble have been worked to create large rusticated wall panels that reflect the handsome Regent Street facades while the lightly fumed oak floors and delicate copperlight doors complement existing historical details within the building. It features 159 rooms and historic suites, an array of dining venues, a private members club, high-tech meeting rooms and a holistic wellbeing spa & gym (including a 59 foot lap pool).
