The ‘Golf Escapes at The Empire' promotion reduces green fees on weekdays from Monday-Thursday to B/S$100 for guests and B/S$135 for walk-in players.

Weekend green fees from Friday to Sunday and public holidays are B/S$150 for guests and B/S$170 for walk-ins.

On Mondays and Tuesdays, the Ladies and Senior Day rate is B/S$75 with a shared buggy, and ‘early bird' tee-offs before 8am on Wednesdays and Thursdays are best valued at B/S$50.

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the majestic floodlit championship course is one of Asia's finest, hosting prestigious events including the annual Brunei Open, contested by the Professional Asian Tour, the Aberdeen Brunei Senior Masters Tournaments and the Faldo Series tournament. The course has also played host to heads-of-state and royalty from around the world.

At 7029 yards, the course winds along the coast with spectacular views and challenging breezes, blowing off the sea across tight fairways. The signature 549-yard par five 15th, stretches along the beach dotted with sprawling bunkers. The 18th green is tucked right up to the cliffs, presenting sea views and the hotel's six-storey glass atrium.

Golf lessons on the driving range or course are available with resident PGA professional Ahmad Bateman, who has been coaching beginner golfers to Tour Professionals for 17 years.

The Junior Golf Academy welcomes young golfers under 18 with both group and individual lessons, while Corporate Golf Clinics are tailored to an organisation's specific requirements for 6-10 students.

The Executive Golf Academy offers lessons for groups of 3 to 6, as well as a one-to-one or two-to-one student-coach ratio program for those seeking a more personalised experience.

The opulent “crown jewel” of the Sultanate of Brunei was voted one of Asia's leading golf destinations in the World Travel Awards and “Asia Pacific's Best Golf Resort” by Asian Golf Monthly in 2010 and 2011.

Country Club Membership is also available and include 6-month, one, two and three year options, priced from just B/S$3,850, with a B/S$100 monthly fee. Membership extends to a spouse, up to three children under 21 and up to three guests. Members are entitled to free use of golf course and club house facilities.

Royal Brunei Airlines operates daily 2-hour flights from both Singapore and Malaysia to Bandar Seri Begawan.
