Capella Singapore, an Ultra-Luxury Hotel Opens

The hotel has opened with two high-profile events in its first days. Iconic luxury brand Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is previewing its new 200EX model, while Gucci will be showcasing their spring/summer 2009 collection with a fashion show lounge event in the ballroom.

The 111 rooms at Capella Singapore comprise a presidential manor, 38 villas, 11 suites and 61 premier guest rooms. Designed by acclaimed interior designer Jaya Ibrahim, founder of Jaya and Associates, the warm and inviting palettes of the rooms reflect the underlying influence of the tropical setting. Developed by award-winning Swedish-based Raison d'Etre, Auriga offers four signature treatments, each based on a corresponding lunar phase.
