What is unique about your hotel's location?
Terranea is situated on 102 acres along the Palos Verdes Peninsula, former home to Marineland of the Pacific.
What authentic local experiences will guests have access to?
Terranea offers guests hiking, biking and kayaking. Hiking along our Discovery Trails guests will learn about the indigenous plants and mammals to the peninsula via our six interpretive signs. The Resort's nearly two miles of trails connects with the Peninsula hiking trail system.
What are some amazing things that your Concierge can arrange?
• A flight of fine wines followed by a scenic helicopter flight over Long Beach and the coastline with a romantic fine dining experience awaiting at Ristorante DaVinci afterwards.
• Horseback riding in Rolling Hills, a bubble bath in a bungalow and dinner and dancing atop the famous Breakers Bldg in The Sky Room.
• A limo to Redondo Beach to board a private yacht all the time sipping Champagne en route to Avalon on Catalina Island followed by dinner from a bygone era @ Sir Winston's on The Queen Mary when you return.
• Kayaking along Terranea's shoreline, a romantic couples massage and bubble bath overlooking the Pacific followed by a romantic dinner on the balcony of their bungalow next to a fireplace with an ocean view.

Terranea has plenty of activities for families – Resort pool w/ 140 ft. waterslide, Tide Pool Kids Club, recreational activities; we also have five wedding locations, 33 meeting rooms and 175,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space to attract groups.

Terranea features The Links at Terranea, a challenging 9-hole par 3 golf course, and The Spa at Terranea with 25 treatment rooms, three ocean view pools and a collection of eight distinctive restaurants, bars and lounges.
Do you have a favorite meal in your restaurant(s)?
mar'sel the Resort's signature restaurant has become popular among those seeking fine California cuisine; one of the more popular items on the menu is the sweet corn macchiato. Nelson's the bluff side restaurant and bar serves fish and chips that have been voted "Best of" by Pocket Change LA.
