Mallorca's La Residencia Invites You to Discover Deia on a Vespa
Last year saw the hotel welcome three donkeys and a nature trail to the hotel's offering and this summer the rustic manor house, set on the Deian mountainside of Mallorca, will be introducing a pair of brand new Vespas exclusively for guests to rent out to explore the island.

Armed with maps provided by the hotel's concierge, guests can follow itineraries that will take them either down to the beach for a relaxing day by the sea or for those feeling more adventurous, routes can be mapped leading guests around the hillsides flecked with olive and citrus groves, boasting fantastic views of Mallorca. Couples looking for a romantic getaway can visit Banyalbufar, a small town on the edge of the island that has magnificent views of the coast. Also just a short ride away is the town of Soller and the beautiful village of Fornalutx, which is home to fragrant orange and lemon groves.

Purchased brand new, the Vespas have been painted by the hotel's resident artist, Alan Hide, who has also printed his signature motif onto the vehicles. To ensure guests don't go hungry during their adventures, La Residencia has accessorized the Vespas with picnic baskets so that guests can bring along a picnic that will be packed with a delicious feast to have en-route.

The Vespas will be fully insured for guests' safety and the hotel will also provide helmets. The cost of renting out a single Vespa for a full day is €60 (approximately £52) and €45 (approximately £39) for a half day.
