The interiors, by Patricia Urquiola, combine avant-garde design with the elegance and exquisiteness of the top classic hotels. The cuisine is defined by its two restaurants: the refined Blanc, specialised in Asian food and Moments that is dedicated to neotraditional Catalan cuisine under the supervision of Carme Ruscalleda and her son Raül Balam. Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona wants to be a meeting place not only for its guests but for the city's residents and for this purpose it has enticing venues such as the Banker's Bar – with a very striking design and a superb cocktail menu – the pretty Mimosa garden or the Terrat, a unique space located on the roof with a pool and exceptional views over the city.
