The property is part of Wilderness Reserve, a stunning privately-owned 5,000 acre estate in the heart of Suffolk, offering a luxury collection of fully serviced properties available to rent for weekends or longer stays. Moat Cottage offers a true taste of Huckleberry Finn living! The cottage itself has a boat-like feel, with wide old oak boards and an ancient rolling timber frame. It is thatched using Norfolk Reed and locally grown long straw ridges and features traditional Suffolk pargetting details inside and out. As well as the beautifully appointed bedrooms, the cosy sitting room includes an inglenook fire whilst the stunning open-plan kitchen has oak bi-fold doors offering sweeping views of the Suffolk landscape. A summer house provides the ideal spot for fishing in the moat which is stocked with plenty of fish including Roach, Rudd and Skimmers, whilst the bothy includes a hot tub sunken into the water creating the ultimate relaxation spot.
