Open in June 2009, Hotel Missoni Edinburgh is the launch hotel for the new hotel brand. With a prime location on the corner of George IV Bridge and the Royal Mile, and just steps from Edinburgh Castle, Hotel Missoni is situated in the heart of Edinburgh.

Positioned between the city's famous Old and New Towns, Hotel Missoni Edinburgh is located near many of Edinburgh's historic attractions, shopping and restaurants. It offers 136 rooms and suites, some of which will enjoy views over the city landmarks and the Royal Mile. The rooms continue the palette of black and white seen throughout the property and are animated with bursts of color. Each guest room has an in-suite bathroom that showcases Italian design. Bathrooms feature a shower with a bench seat, rain shower and handheld shower. Toiletries have been specially created for Hotel Missoni and scented using a Missoni fragrance. In addition to the guest room, there will be seven suites ranging in size from 474 square feet to the 721-square-foot Suite d'Argento.

Hotel Missoni's restaurant, Cucina Missoni, lies at the heart of the property. Open all day from breakfast until late, Cucina will offer a menu of fresh, seasonal and authentic Italian dishes such as Barolo & Castelmagno cheese risotto, sea bass baked with a salt crust, and roast rabbit served with polenta and radicchio. As the day progresses, the atmosphere will change from open and relaxed at breakfast and lunch to vibrant and intimate for dinner. Presentation of the dishes will be complimented by china and glassware from Missoni Home. Cucina will be located on the first floor of the hotel and can seat up to 100 people.

Positioned in the lobby of the hotel on the ground floor, Bar Missoni will be able to hold 50 people and will serve a cocktail list that will include classic drinks, non-alcoholic cocktails and recipes created specially for Bar Missoni.

There are three private rooms available for meetings or events, each stylishly designed in keeping with the Missoni interiors. The three rooms vary in size from 301 square feet to 807 square feet and the largest room can be divided into two adjoining spaces. A fourth space (1,076 square feet) is available for use as a breakout area. An events team is on hand at Hotel Missoni to assist with all aspects of planning an event and to tailor it to the guest's individual requirements.
