New Pet Program at Provenance Hotels

New Pet Program at Provenance Hotels
The partnership raises the bar on their pet program and ensure the very best in comfort, nutrition and well-being for four-legged travelers.

In a natural extension of the Portland-based company's ongoing commitment to sustainability and long-lauded innovative pet program, Provenance Hotels turned to the editors at FIDO Friendly to aid in curating sustainable pet beds and treats, an eco-friendly pet room service menu and safety improvements that help ensure peace of mind for pet parents on the road.

Provenance Hotels have long been lauded for pampered pet resources that range from practical – groomers, dog walkers and veterinarians – to over-the-top indulgent – pet acupuncture, psychics, Reiki and more. In a nod to the company's signature spiritual menu from which travelers can borrow a book of faith, the hotels also offer pet spiritual menus with inspirational books that cover everything from the laying-on-of-hands (the dos and don'ts of dog massage) to holistic care, pet psychology and good oldfashioned nature worship (the best area hikes for dogs). All books are available to registered guests onloan and free of charge during their stay.

To improve their pet program, Provenance Hotels tapped FIDO Friendly to help identify the industry's leading brands for pet beds, wholesome pet food and tips on best practices that guests can adopt while traveling to ensure the safety of their four-legged companions.

As believers in the luxury of a good night's sleep, when travelers check into any of Provenance Hotels' eight properties with a furry family member in tow, they will find their room equipped with a plush dog toy and an Eco Nap pet bed produced by West Paw Design. Created using recycled plastic bottles and eco-friendly materials, these lightweight sustainably produced pet mats make for dreamy travel beds, perfect for adding comfort to travel carriers or positioned bedside in a guestroom.

Knowing that humans aren't the only ones who deserve top quality nosh, Provenance Hotels partnered with The Honest Kitchen to offer 100% human grade pet food from the hotels' pet room service menu. Specializing in minimally-processed, dehydrated pet food, The Honest Kitchen prepares each of their pet recipes with whole foods and natural, taste-tested ingredients that uphold the integrity of their human grade products and health benefits for pets.
