The Magic Tree House Holiday Packages

The Plaza hotel and Random House Children’s Books’ distinct literary partnership will provide the perfect holiday activities for families traveling to New York City with their popular Magic Tree House Experience, offering boys and girls with exclusive opportunities to explore the hotel’s history as inspired by the popular book series.

Now through November 30, 2014, the Magic Tree House Experience package will be centered around Mary Pope Osborne’s book: Thanksgiving on Thursday. To bring the story to life, The Plaza hotel’s adventurous family guests are encouraged to pack their “Magic Tree House Plaza Passport” and Pilgrims Fact Checker, and visit the National Museum of the American Indian. From December 1-30, 2014, the Magic Tree House Experience package will be inspired by the book: A Ghost Tale for Christmas Time. The Plaza hotel offers guests additional ways to get into the holiday spirit by giving back. In The Todd English Food Hall, The Rose Club and The Champagne Bar, guests are invited to “round up” their check to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to The Volunteers of America-Greater New York’s Hope and Hearth Holiday Food Voucher Program. A visit to The Plaza Boutique or The Plaza Santa also provides the opportunity to help raise money for the organization.
