A smorgasbord of mouthwatering light tapas-style tasters that reflect the fusion style that has placed this innovative dining brand on the global food stage.

Ask any enthusiastic diner and it's a given that Nobu is on their restaurant bucket list. This international brand is loved by A-listers and serious gourmet enthusiasts the world over and the Cape Town representative is no exception. With its impressive interior spanning the double volume space as well as a menu that has a stellar reputation, an evening at Nobu really is a dining excursion to remember.

Taking international dining trends into account, One&Only Cape Town has recently launched their Nobu Lite concept.

Available daily from 6-8pm, the menu features a host of delectable culinary offerings for the lighter-diner, yet absolutely discerning palate. The stars of this menu are the three Lite offerings, served family style for four people to share. Nobu Lite features tastes from some of Nobu's most loved carne courses including Beef Kushiyaki, Chicken Anticucho, Pork Belly and Beef New Style while there is also the Pescetarian Lite option which features Salmon & Tuna Tacos, Hot Miso Chips, Tuna Tataki with Ponzu, Tuna Tempura Roll and Salmon Anticucho Skewers. Vegetarians are in good hands thanks to the Vegetarian Lite option with tastes including the famous Broccoli Chili Salsa and the Shojin Tempura. Nobu also invites guests to create their own platters or to select dishes individually.

Other menu choices served between 6 and 8pm in the sophisticated Nobu Lounge include their cult six-piece sushi rolls as well as a selection of interesting edible innovations that reflect the Nobu brand's Japanese roots and Peruvian influences. These can be enjoyed alone or as part of a platter.

Apart from Nobu's famed sake based cocktails, look out too for the recently launched Patron cocktails including the wicked Jamu Jar. And on Thursdays, catch the designer beats of brothers Grant and Craig Da Sousa.
