Opus Montreal is a unique, boutique hotel blending contemporary style and design with a nod to the historic. The original avant-garde structure, built in 1914 by Joseph-Arthur Godin, was created in an Art Nouveau style. The simplicity of the original design is complimented by its unabashedly modern concrete addition, created by architect Dan Hanganu of Montreal and interior designer Yabu Pushelberg of New York, winner of the prestigious 'Platinum Circle Award'. Complimenting the soon-to-open lounge will be the arrival of the 9000 square foot food and beverage outlet fronting Sherbrooke Street. With its concept and identity under tight wraps, Montreal awaits with eager anticipation the unveiling of this space in spring 2008.
