Pelican Hill Debuts Children's Resort Etiquette Program
As families plan summer travel to luxurious destinations near and far, The Resort at Pelican Hill® presents a new spring series of etiquette classes, covering a range of topics from the dining table to the Resort pool. Designed for children ages 8-12, the full-day course combines fun and learning to build young Resort guests' repertoire of protocol, manners, and self-confidence.

"Just in time for summer vacations, our spring classes offer professional instruction, paired with a fun approach and a casually chic setting."

Conducted at Newport Coast's "Italian Seaside Village," the program features intimate class sizes of six to 12 students, personalized hands-on learning and a positive approach to prepare children for safe, enjoyable family travel. Children ages 8-12 are invited to learn a charming new set of skills by enrolling in a one of the Resort's classes offered from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, May 27 and June 24, 2012.

Led by Founder and President of the Etiquette School of Beverly Hills-Newport Beach, Kathleen Cover, each fun and interactive class includes the topics of first impressions and introductions, dining etiquette, writing thank you notes, Five-Diamond resort and pool etiquette, completed with an afternoon swim in the Coliseum Pool, one of the largest circular pools in the world.

Each full-day class, held in a Resort ballroom, includes lunch, a Resort tour, and a swim in the Coliseum Pool for $249 per child per class. Exclusive same-day offers for golf, spa and dining will be available for parents of children enrolled in a class.
