Peninsula Hong Kong Celebrates 85 Years

The iconic Peninsula Hong Kong is celebrating its historic 85th anniversary with special celebrations that honor the unique traditions of the famed hotel and city while looking forward to the future.

Launching March 3, the year-long celebrations include the unveiling of tech-savvy guest rooms, special promotions, culinary offerings and a variety of events that recall the glamour of the 1920’s:

• The unveiling of new guestrooms in the Original Building in May
• An eight-course Diamond Jubilee dinner celebrating 60 years of gastronomic excellence at Gaddi’s
• A “Tribute to Hong Kong” at Spring Moon and a taste of the future at Felix
• Revival of the Afternoon Tea Dance in the lobby with a 10-piece band
• “Glamour Time” three-hour spa experience
• A new Peninsula Academy program preserving the city’s disappearing crafts
• Culinary treats delivered across the city in The Peninsula MINI Coopers
• Celebratory art performances at the hotel
• A calendar of charity and fundraising efforts and meaningful staff volunteerism
• Launch of the sequel to the feature film Tradition Well Served
