Rare Availability - Luxury Yacht Charter in Alaska
Visiting Alaska by private yacht is in such demand that travelers usually have to book more than a year in advance. This summer, INCA – International Nature & Cultural Adventures is offering four 9-day departures (June 25, July 3, July 11 and July 25) including seven days on the 96-foot M/Y Alaskan Song cruising between Sitka and Juneau.

Guests plan the day's adventures with the captain. One day they might navigate among house-sized icebergs through the deep Tracy Arm Fjord to their source, the massive Sawyer Glacier. Or they may opt to cruise the far west coast of Chichagof Island, known for its abundant otters and puffins. The kids will thrill at the sight of humpback whales bubble-net feeding and bears prowling the coastline. Grandpa can try his hand at fly-fishing, while grandma hikes or kayaks and later finds succulent seafood in the crab and shrimp pots. This is prime viewing season for orcas, seals, bears and eagles and the perfect time to dine on fresh salmon and halibut. Mom and Dad will get some well-deserved down time for relaxing and bonding with their very happy kids. There will be memorable experiences for the whole family.

The M/Y Alaskan Song, is quiet, cozy and tastefully decorated. The large interior spaces offer great visibility and the covered aft decks and side walkways are perfect for viewing wildlife. Comfortable and bright, the four staterooms with bath and shower come equipped with feather beds covered in high-thread count linens and down comforters and individual controls for air-conditioning and heat.

The owners, Captain Richard Friedman and his wife chef Nancy, are passionate about Alaska and its wildlife and treat guests like cherished friends.

The charter price for the nine-day adventure starts from $32,000 for a minimum of four guests and includes all yacht and hotel accommodations (hotels in Sitka and Juneau, or reverse); all meals, non-alcoholic beverages, wine and beer while on yacht; all guides, activities, tours and sightseeing arrangements as specified in itinerary; use of kayaks salmon, halibut and fresh-water fishing gear with supervision by crew while on yacht and airport transfers as on the itinerary. Each additional guest, up to a maximum of 10 persons, is $4,000.

Not included are airfares; airport fees; airport transfers not specified in itinerary; tips for yacht crews, guides or naturalists (at your discretion); excess baggage charges, or other items of a personal nature. INCA recommends that guests purchase insurance coverage for trip cancellation-interruption, travel accident, travel delay, baggage delay or theft, and medical or hospitalization expenses.
