Star Wars™ and the Power of Costume will officially open to the general public at the nearby Denver Art Museum on Sunday, November 13 and shows through April 2, 2017.

The exhibition showcases over 70 original costumes as seen in all seven films and examines the process of costume design as told by designers and actors through several videos. Guests will explore the artistry of the world's most recognized cinematic costumes, including Queen Amidala, Chewbacca, X-Wing Pilots, and Droids, including C-3PO and R2-D2.

Star Wars™ and the Power of Costume was developed by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in partnership with the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and in consultation with Lucasfilm Ltd. Objects in this exhibition are on loan from the Archives of Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.
