Rolls-Royce Subverts Iconic Design with the new Black Badge

Created in response to the demand from customers, Rolls-Royce has showcased its super-luxury credentials once more in accessing a darker side of its character more suited to this new breed of successful people, who continue to demand a truly Bespoke vehicle.

Breaking all the rules and transforming the very icons of its brand, the Black Badge begins with the ‘Flying Lady' who changes in colour and intensity. This transformation pervades the other iconic symbols of the Ghost Black Badge and Wraith Black Badge; the Double R badge on the prow, flanks and aft of every Black Badge motor car invert to become silver on black, whilst chrome surfaces such as the front grille surround, boot lid finisher, lower air inlet finisher and exhaust pipes, turn dark.

Offering the ultimate blend of pure luxury style and assertive engineering, the Black Badge also is endowed with new composite carbon fibre and lightweight alloy wheels, which feature 22 layers of carbon fibre laid in three axes, and striking Bespoke interiors to match every owner's personal desires.
