Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi Celebrates 25th Anniversary
Previously a government building, the property was transformed into a luxury hotel in 1991, which showcased traditional Southwestern art and architectural styles and honored the culture and heritage of Santa Fe's native people through both its name and interiors. At the Inn's grand opening on July 1, 1991, a Franciscan priest, Buddhist monk and Hopi shaman gave traditional blessings, and members of the original hotel staff buried a time capsule filled with prayers and wishes for a successful future.

Exactly 25 years after Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi's memorable opening ceremony, the hotel will launch several special new offers, amenities and programs for guests:

• From July 1 through 25, guests staying at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi will have the opportunity to win a special anniversary gift. One hotel guest will be selected each day for 25 days to receive a gift.
• The Anasazi Restaurant, Bar and Lounge will offer a special dish that pays tribute to the Anasazi Tribe through local ingredients and native preparation. Created by Chef Edgar Beas, the Pinon Smoked Lamb with Maize and Wild Edibles dish will be available from June 22nd, 2016.
• A commemorative 25th anniversary cocktail, Silver Dragon, which will include Casa Dragones Blanca, peach liqueur and Om liqueur, will be available at the Anasazi Restaurant, Bar and Lounge throughout the hotel's anniversary year.
• Beginning July 1st, couples celebrating their 25th anniversaries at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi will receive a special silver anniversary amenity.
• In partnership with Nathalie, Santa Fe's leading designer for luxury Western apparel, Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi has created a one-of-a-kind, custom belt buckle, which will be available for guests to purchase in celebration of the hotel's silver anniversary.

Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi has also created a special 25th Anniversary Package that provides guests with a full immersion into the culture and history of Santa Fe with luxurious nightly accommodations in the Anasazi Suite. Priced at $25,000, the five-night VIP experience begins when guests arrive at the airport and are whisked away in a classic vintage car. Throughout the trip, guests will have access to a myriad of curated “A Sense of Place” activities, including a private session with a local Tesuque Shaman, a once-in-a-lifetime safari through the Grand Canyon, white water rafting and customized cowboy hats and boots. The offer will also include private dinners by Chef Edgar Beas in the Wine Cellar and at a private home in the picturesque Santa Fe mountains.
