San Francisco's Restaurant Week Returns Jan. 15-31, 2014
"Do the math – 100 restaurants in the 49 square miles of the city offering up to 25 percent off for 17 days. There are exactly zero excuses to not ‘Dine About Town,'” explains Joe D'Alessandro, president and CEO of the San Francisco Travel Association which has produced “Dine About Town” since it began in January of 2002.

The popular program returns for a “second helping” on June 1-15.

“San Francisco has such an abundance of notable restaurants it's only natural that our ‘Restaurant Week' actually lasts for two weeks and happens twice a year,” D'Alessandro said.

The participating restaurants include two with Michelin stars (Luce and Spruce) and twelve others that are Michelin rated (Absinthe, Café de la Presse, Chapeau!, Chaya Brasserie, Dosa on Fillmore, Fringale, Georges, Marlowe, One Market, Skool, Sociale and Waterbar).

The complete restaurant list for “Dine About Town San Francisco” and reservations are available at www.dineabouttown.com, a website of the San Francisco Travel Association. The list can be searched by neighborhood, cuisine, vegetarian options and lunch or dinner offerings. Through a partnership with Open Table, reservations (strongly recommended) can be made directly from the “Dine About Town” pages.

Dates and times of participation vary by restaurant. A la carte menus will also be available. Information is also available by calling 415-391-2000. American Express is the preferred method of payment for Dine About Town.

The San Francisco Travel Association is the official tourism marketing organization for the City and County of San Francisco. For information on reservations, packages, activities and more, visit www.sanfrancisco.travel or call 415-391-2000.
