Scottsdale's Prado Restaurant Debuts New Tapas Menu
Created by Prado's new chef de cuisine, Peter DeRuvo, the new menu showcases his passion for preparing dishes where classic cooking techniques, fresh, seasonal ingredients and a talent for masterfully layering flavors from around the globe come together to create memorable cuisine.

Meant for sharing and sampling, these small plates can be enjoyed in the Prado dining room, Mbar, and at the new communal seating area built around the restaurant's centerpiece wood-fired oven where many of the tapas are prepared. With seating for up to 10 guests, the stunning new tapas bar, made of copper, oak and granite, allows guests the opportunity to interact with chefs as they expertly prepare the small bites just on the other side of the rail. Additional seating plus a community table make this the perfect spot for socializing, gathering and celebrating with family and friends.

The tapas menu, priced from $4-$15, offers an impressive variety of small game, seafood, cheese and egg options and will change regularly based on what's fresh, available and in season. Signature items include Merguez Lamb Sausage with Coco Beans and Wild Oregano; Local Medjool Dates Filled with Cabrales Blue Cheese, Wrapped in Serrano Ham; and Grilled Garlic Prawns with Spanish Sea Salt and Arbequina Oil.

A limited menu of $6 tapas and $6 wine are available for happy hour every Mon – Fri from 5 – 7 p.m. and reverse happy hour from 9 – 11 p.m. The tapas bar area is perfect for semi-private events and can hold-up to 30 guests maximum.
