Other must-see Summer Festival events include: August Thursday, the first Thursday in August and a day for picnics and family reunions; and the A&B class boatraces at Meads Bay; The Grand Parade of Troupes, complete with elaborate costumes from Anguillians of all ages that showcase elements of culture and fantasy; and The Leeward Islands' Calypso Monarch Competition, which features the musical showdown of the year as Calypso Kings from throughout the Leeward Islands vie for the title of King of Kings. CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa has unveiled its latest project, an impressive solar field spanning four acres.
