Sonoma's Farmhouse Inn Celebrates Multi-Million Dollar Renovation with Special Offer
The award-winning Sonoma County Inn established itself as one of the most romantic destinations in wine country more than 13 years ago and was recently ranked No. 28 in Travel + Leisure's 2014 World's Best Hotels awards. Sibling owners Catherine and Joe Bartolomei partnered with celebrated global hospitality firm SB Architects, Healdsburg's Myra Hoefer Design and Valley Crest Landscape on the $8 million renovation. Highlights of the redesign include nine new luxury guest rooms that convey the bucolic ambiance of the destination, a new farm-to-table spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center and extensive landscaping with lush gardens and a revitalized pool area.

Rivaling the finest hotels in the world, Farmhouse Inn is committed to providing guests with an authentic “insider” wine-country experience in California's picturesque Russian River Valley, famous for its world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. While Farmhouse Inn's unspoiled beauty and romantic backdrop attract travelers from around the world, the unrivaled service, warmth and genuine hospitality of the hotel's passionate owners and concierge team keep them coming back. As fifth-generation farmers, winery and vineyard owners, Catherine and Joe invite guests to share their Sonoma County lifestyle and deep community roots by creating one-of-a-kind wine-country itineraries and experiences filled with hidden treasures from the region.

“The support of our loyal guests and the growing interest in this unique wine-country destination inspired us to further enhance the Farmhouse Inn experience,” said Catherine. “It has been our lifelong dream to share our love of the Russian River Valley and we're thrilled that our vision of becoming one of the best hotels in the world has become a reality.”

Designed to evoke the historic barns of Sonoma County's hillsides, nine new Barn Rooms will be added to Farmhouse Inn, bringing the total number of guest rooms to 25. Complementing the expansive gardens and tranquil natural environments surrounding the property, the new rooms emulate the established aesthetic and amenities of the existing beloved Barn Rooms with slight updates for additional comfort and connectivity. Offering the same luxurious features and similar interior feel, the new rooms will be equipped with large windows and private decks overlooking the woods, a jetted tub and separate steam shower, radiant-heated floors, indoor and outdoor fireplaces and classic elegant furnishings hand-picked by the owners of Farmhouse Inn.

The completely revamped Spa at Farmhouse, opening in September, continues the ongoing successful partnership with Francis & Alexander and will evoke a glamorous horse stable with bold architectural accents, richly textured hand-woven fabrics and rustic-elegant furnishings. Spa guests will enjoy a natural extension of the Sonoma farm-inspired experience, with treatments incorporating spring forest honey and heirloom cider apples from the owners' ranch, along with herbs grown in Farmhouse's kitchen garden. Spa at Farmhouse will feature four indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, an interactive Apothecary Cart and an on-property aromatherapist who will customize spa treatments with guests' choice of oils, herb-infused soaps and fresh-fruit jam scrubs. Signature spa treatments include A Roll in the Hay couples massage, Catherine's Favorite massage and The Back Porch exfoliation.

Farmhouse Inn is celebrating the unveiling of its stunning redesign and expansion by extending a special guest offer. From August 1 until December 25, guests who book one of the new King Deluxe or Luxury Barn Rooms will receive one night free on any stay of four or more nights, compliments of Farmhouse Inn.
