It's official! Desroches Island, a stunning, luxurious private island is the sexiest outer island in the Seychelles. Why? The magnificent island was chosen by Sports Illustrated as the location to shoot its legendary Swimsuit Issue - the most extensively read magazine worldwide!

The Swimsuit Issue was shot in August 2011 over a 15 day period. Sports Illustrated selected Desroches as the location for the notorious issue as the island provided an abundance of dramatic and eye-catching backdrops: the crystal clear azure blue sea of the Indian Ocean, pristine, dazzlingly white sandy beaches and lush green vegetation. A selection of the world's sexiest and stunning famed models such as Anne V, Julie Henderson, Chrissy Tiegen, Alyssa Miller and rookie Nina Agdal graced the powder soft, white, palm fringed beaches of Desroches Island.
