St. Barth's Hotel Le Toiny Now Open Following Renovation
Hotel Le Toiny is a Relais & Chateaux boutique hotel located on St. Barth's coveted Côte Sauvage. The hotel's recent full-scale renovation, completed over its annual summer closing season, reveals a stylish new design while sustaining the privacy, exclusivity and exceptional gourmet cuisine for which the acclaimed retreat is known.

Overseen by London-based interior designer Lady Bee Osborn, the recent refurbishment updated Hotel Le Toiny's original classic French-inspired décor to a clean “coastal chic” aesthetic. The muted palette features neutral tones and fine natural materials inspired by St. Barth's, including petrified wood, mother-of-pearl and sun-bleached teak. The design is accented with crisp pops of bold blue, in a nod to the hotel's striking Caribbean Sea views.

Each of Hotel Le Toiny's 15 standalone villa accommodations is now outfitted in a relaxing coastal color palette with bleached wood-inspired floors, fine Belgian linens, textured accessories and handmade furnishings. Brilliant blue accent pieces create a breezy look that is stylish yet unfussy.

Champagne Sitting Area

The renovation also marks the arrival of the hotel's new and eagerly awaited Toiny Beach Club, which is open to hotel guests, and the public by reservation only. It is incorporated around two historic 18th century cottages, which are some of the oldest structures on St. Barth.

The Toiny Beach Club includes an open-air amphitheater, coconut grove, tamarind field, garden, orchard and pineapple trees. Guests can enjoy wine, cocktails and cuisine serviced from the hotel's renowned restaurant. Sand has also been added to soften the Beach Club's setting without interrupting Toiny Bay's beautifully rugged shore.

Guests and visitors to Hotel Le Toiny's acclaimed restaurant can now enjoy a host of new amenities. A champagne sitting area provides a space for guests to mix and mingle before dinner. A new open-air bar, inlaid with oyster shells and featuring fun coral-hued seating, provides a space for conversation alongside uninterrupted Caribbean sea views.

The recent renovation is the largest and first phase of refurbishments planned for Hotel Le Toiny. A second and final phase, anticipated to begin summer 2016, will add a selection of new accommodations scheduled to open in 2017.
