St. Regis' expanded footprint will span Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East and feature new construction as well as a magnificent and meticulous restoration of the Grand Hotel in Florence, which will open as The St. Regis Florence this fall. Formerly the Grand Hotel, Florence, The St. Regis Florence will officially open in September following a meticulous restoration. Designed in 1432 by Filippo Brunelleschi, the architect of the Duomo Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, The St. Regis Florence is considered one of the most significant buildings in artistic and historical value in the heart of the city.
