Starwood Hotels & Resorts to Debut First Luxury Hotel in Tokyo
Owned by Prince Hotels, Inc., The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, a Luxury Collection Hotel, will be located in the heart of Tokyo's Kioicho neighborhood, marking The Luxury Collection's second property in Japan, following the opening of Suiran in Kyoto in April 2015.

Located in Kioicho, part of the central Chiyoda municipality, the hotel will sit at the geographic center of Tokyo, seamlessly aligning with the city's juxtaposition of historic marvels and ultra-modern infrastructure. The location is in close proximity to Tokyo's myriad attractions, including Shimizudani Park and Benkei Canal. Access to the extensive metro network will be conveniently offered from the nearby Akasaka Mitsuke station, which connects to the popular shopping and entertainment districts of Ginza, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Shibuya in just 20 minutes.

The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho is part of Tokyo Garden Terrace, a mixed-use development which will encompass retail, offices and residences. The hotel will be located on the 30th to 36th floors of the tower also featuring offices and commercial facilities and will include a lobby on the top floor with panoramic city views. Designed by Rockwell Group Europe, The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho will offer 250 spacious guestrooms, including 11 opulent suites. The 35th floor will feature a signature bar with two-story floor-to-ceiling glass windows for guests to enjoy the ever-changing cityscape. The hotel will also boast more than 272 square meters of state-of-the-art function and meeting space, a large indoor pool, fitness center, spa, business center and club lounge. It will house four distinctive restaurants and bars, including an all-day dining venue and specialty restaurants. Hotel guests will also have easy access to additional dining options located within Tokyo Garden Terrace, including a bistro-style French restaurant.

In 2015, Starwood signed four new hotels and opened three new properties in Japan, namely Sheraton Kiroro Hokkaido Resort; The Kiroro, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Hokkaido; and The Westin Rusutsu Resort. When opened, The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioichio will mark Starwood's fourth hotel in Tokyo, bolstering the company's presence in the Japanese capital.
