March means longer days and plenty of fresh snow, hot deals and a triple-play of big events. It starts with the Vermont Open (March 12-15), a celebration of snowboarding history, tradition and progression with the half pipe, big air and banked slalom events for pros and aspiring pros alike. The 24 Hours of Stratton (March 21-22) challenges individuals and teams to ski or ride all night and all day to rack up as many vertical feet as possible – all while raising funds for the charitable works of the Stratton Foundation. Marchdi Gras (March 28-29) warms up the resort with music, food, drink, dancing and revelry with a southern flair. It's a little bit of New Orleans in Vermont.
