Suite Dreams: The St. Regis New York Unveils Tiffany Suite

-

The St. Regis New York unveiled the one-of-a-kind Tiffany Suite this month. Two legendary brands sharing rich histories in New York, The St. Regis New York and Tiffany & Co. are both housed in storied landmark buildings on Fifth Avenue.

The glistening suite on the 14th floor of the beloved St. Regis New York is both whimsical and luxurious, reflecting Tiffany's modern aesthetic and contemporary vision within the deeply elegant walls of The St. Regis.

The St. Regis New York, a Beaux Arts beauty built in 1904 by John Jacob Astor, is a grand New York landmark, featuring richly decorated guest rooms and suites with high ceilings, deeply carved crown moldings and wainscoting, magnificent chandeliers and marble bathtubs. Elegant and luxurious, with flawless personalized service, the hotel has long been an oasis of refinement for visitors and New Yorkers alike. For Tiffany, the hotel's rich legacy and refined glamour were features to be highlighted in the suite. "The St. Regis New York and Tiffany have a remarkable shared history, from our landmark buildings on Fifth Avenue to our legacy of serving some of the world’s most celebrated names," said Paul H. F. Nash, General Manager of The St. Regis New York.

The Tiffany Suite is 1,700 square feet in size and features a serene and sophisticated range of subtle neutral colors including whites, beiges, charcoal grey and silver, with the signature Tiffany blue as an accent color throughout the suite. Upon entering the space, the guest will instantly recognize jewel inspired references throughout. The foyer features a Tiffany-blue glass beaded and silver leafed handmade wall covering, which enhances the stunning architecture of the entryway. The entry console’s design is a subtle reference to one of Tiffany’s most iconic pieces, the engagement ring. Accent pieces include an intricate jewel-shaped mirror hangs on the wall and a silver leafed table.

The expansive living room of the Tiffany Suite is bright and airy, showcasing the suite’s floor to ceiling windows overlooking Fifth Avenue with breathtaking views of Central Park. The furnishings mix modern, deco and classic pieces, including precious Macguire jewel shaped armchairs, a contemporary coffee table and desk with white lacquer and chrome accents and mirrored side tables. The bar cart boasts a wide array of Tiffany crystal barware and accessories. Large archival Tiffany photos adorn the walls.
