The summer safaris are available to guests at both properties, and were inspired by Kurt Johnson’s passion for the natural wonders of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Ranging from half-day wildlife tours in the Teton Mountains, to multi-night tours in Yellowstone, to sunset dinners and astronomy classes, the options are diverse and perfect for travelers looking to explore the region:


  • Best of Grand Teton: Participants will visit numerous wildlife sanctuaries and historical sights inside Grand Teton National Park and enjoy lunch on Jackson Lake (7-8 hours, $195 per adult and $165 per child).

  • Grand Teton Photo Safari: Guests will refine their nature photography skills on this “Instagram-worthy” tour in Grand Teton National Park, focusing on finding amazing backdrops and scenic destinations (5-6 hours, $175 per adult and $165 per child).

  • Ultimate Yellowstone: This tour starts and ends with stays at Hotel Terra Jackson Hole and Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, with one night spent away in either Cooke City, Montana or Gardiner, Montana. Including all meals and accommodations, participants will explore upper and lower loops of Yellowstone with a chance to see grizzly bears and other wildlife as well as the great diversity of the park’s hydrothermal features (Overnight pricing available upon request).

  • Safari and Stars: This tour includes a dusk wildlife safari and a sunset dinner at the foot of the Grand Teton Mountains at Dornan’s Restaurant, followed by an astronomy lesson (6-7 hours, pricing starts at $1,350 for up to five people).
