Debuting this month, Park Hyatt Aviara Resort is proud to announce the launch of the Surfing with the Chef Program, where Executive Chef Pierre Albaladejo will be taking guests from the kitchen to the beaches through this new experiential package.

Launching this month and running throughout the summer, Chef Pierre will be sharing his two passions – cooking and surfing – with resort guests through this new program that allows guests to not only surf with Chef, but cook with him too. The day will begin with a morning in the kitchen with Chef preparing breakfast, followed by surf lessons at one of the local Carlsbad beaches, and concluding with a “toes in the sand” meal on the beach, prepared by Chef Pierre himself. After lunch, guests will be presented with their own personalized longboard surfboard that will be shipped back home for them following their visit.
“As a French-born and trained chef from a surfing town in the southwest of France, I naturally love the ocean,” says Executive Chef Pierre Albaladejo. “Having held positions in St. Thomas, Pebble Beach, Hawaii, and now Southern California, surfing is in my blood and this exciting new offering allows me to share my passions in and out of the kitchen, while offering guests an out-of-the-box and unforgettable travel experience.”
