Switzerland's Beau-Rivage Palace Unveils New Bar Serving Bespoke Cocktails
Stocked with more than 250 quality spirits, including rarities such as A. E. DOR le signe du temps (only 17 bottles in the world), Havana Club Maximo and White Bowmore 1964, the new bar offers the same level of attention to detail that one experiences while staying at the Beau-Rivage Palace. Each cocktail is an original creation and is served in a unique glass. Ice cubes are carved-to-serve from a large block of ice. Each drink is accompanied by a recipe for the customer to take home. Regular customers can reserve their own personal bottle, which will be stored in a special cupboard to enjoy time and again. And the finishing touch: Once a drink has been prepared, it is lightly sprayed with a regional fruit-flavored eau de vie from an antique perfume atomizer - a nod to Coco Chanel's frequent visits to the bars of the Beau-Rivage Palace.

Designed in partnership with Wilsdon Design Associates and Gorgeous Group, the space exudes a modern-meets-traditional feel that is a hallmark of the hotel. Period tapestry blends with a transparent onyx bar, antique glass vases sit atop metal and oak shelves, and lighting is strategically placed to highlight the space's decorative moldings and pillars.

Future plans call for the construction of a large outdoor terrace, where guests can sip cocktails while overlooking Lake Geneva, adjacent to the hotel.
