The seven-room luxury hotel set within a restored 250-year old mansion in Cartagena's old city is the first collaboration between Colombian fashion icon Silvia Tcherassi and Miami-based CF Hospitality and has taken both the media and luxury travelers by storm since its debut late Fall of 2009.

For the fifth year, Travel + Leisure magazine set out to find the best new hotels in the world to place on the highly coveted "It List." From pioneering architecture to authentic regional experiences, they selected 45 properties that they consider to be reshaping their respective destinations.
