Ted Turner Expeditions Adds St. Phillips Private Island to Collection
Formerly a private destination for the Turner family and close friends, St. Phillips Island features a six-bedroom home that acts as the gateway to explore the island's pristine, protected habitats and the region's many ocean and land adventure offerings.

St. Phillips Island is a 4,680-acre private island located off the southeastern coast of South Carolina and is completely self-sufficient with its own water and solar power supply. Unique and different from other existing Ted Turner Expeditions offerings, St. Phillips Island's natural setting features subtropical forest and long, white-sand beaches stretching along the Atlantic Ocean. The property is protected under a conservation easement with The Nature Conservancy, and is registered as a natural landmark by the US Department of Interior, offering access to some of the most pristine landscapes on the East Coast for activities like surf fishing, cast net shrimping, crabbing, bicycling, and hiking.

Located near Hilton Head, St. Phillips can be accessed via private airplane (Beaufort County/Lady's Island - ARW) or commercial carriers (Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport - SAV), followed by a brief 10-minute boat ride from its departure dock on St. Helena Island.

Rates at St. Phillips Island begin at $250 per person, per night (minimum of four guests), inclusive of all meals.
