The Hamptons' Inn at Windmill Lane Takes it up a Notch this Summer
Now under the helm of General Manager Edward Villafane (formerly with the Five Star, Five-Diamond Ocean House in Watch Hill, R.I.), The Inn is ready for summer season with a higher-level of hotel experience and a few surprises for guests.

Perfectly aligned with the destination's laid-back luxury vibe, the Inn at Windmill Lane features seven distinct suites in its main house, and three private, gated cottages nestled in a vast landscaped garden. Each well-appointed and uniquely designed suite and cottage is adorned with Mitchell & Gold furniture, handcrafted accent pieces, and curated artwork from the Inn's privately-owned collection featuring well-known local and international artists. The spacious interiors will showcase fresh paint in the soothing shade of White Dove with the addition of 100% cotton percale Matouk luxury bed linens, and area rugs and accent pillows in hues of terracotta and blues.

The showpiece of The Inn is its newest accommodation, the 21 House, a 3,800 square foot private home opened just last year. This four-bedroom private residence offers four king bedrooms, each with en-suite bath, a dining room, living room, and full gourmet chef's kitchen and grilling patio. The 21 House also features its own spa treatment room.

Since its inception in 2009, The Inn has served as a summer escape for discerning travelers. New in-room amenities include Molton Brown bathroom products in scents of Ginger Lilly and Keurig coffee makers featuring local flavors from the Hampton Coffee Company. To eliminate a traditional mini bar, rooms will feature three types of complimentary comfort snacks and beverages as well as still and sparkling water, all of which will be replenished daily. Accommodations will be equipped with the latest Bose Radio Wave III with Bluetooth and Monastery Hill accessories. An iPad provided through Incentient will feature recommendations on the trendiest area attractions, shopping and restaurants within walking distance and surrounding areas. The iPads will be equipped with music playlists, access to newspapers, and descriptions of the unique artwork found throughout the Inn. Guests will also have the ability to book activities, Spa and in-room dining from local restaurants.

Sophisticated travelers will find comforts of home turned up a notch, such as a welcome amenity upon arrival, daily gourmet continental breakfast, a fleet of bike cruisers provided through Bowery Bikes, fitness room and 24-hour concierge services. Beach-goers can take advantage of pre-arranged beach baskets for lunch-to-go as well as amenities such as beach chairs, towels and umbrellas, a luxury SUV shuttle service, and parking passes. Experiential opportunities and educational activities are under development to launch in Fall 2015.

“Each day we strive to create a unique personal guest experience that is beyond compare to make lasting memories and traditions.” said Edward Villafane, General Manager of the Inn at Windmill Lane. “Guests will feel as though they are visiting a home of a good friend, and our new enhancements will complement their experience from the moment they arrive through check-out.”

Summer rates at The Inn start at $935 per night, based on double occupancy May 15th through Labor Day. Rates for the 21 House start at $4900 for up to 8 people, with a minimum night booking of 14 nights. Rates include daily gourmet continental breakfast, a fleet of bikes, fitness room, 24-hour concierge services, beach transportation/parking passes and beach amenities, and luxury SUV shuttle services.
